What is TarmacDry?

TarmacDry is an asphalt porous paving system that takes control of rain management by working with nature.

It is designed to capture rain and surface water before either storing it for recycling, releasing it immediately into the sub-grade or performing a controlled release into the existing drainage.

TarmacDry is a Sustainable Drainage System (SuDS) that removes the need for any additional drainage systems, making housing developments and industrial construction projects much more cost-effective.


Where do I use TarmacDry?

TarmacDry porous asphalt pavements are designed principally for off highway applications, for example:

TarmacDry Geomembrane and granular reservoir

  • sports facilities
  • school playgrounds 
  • housing estates  

Who installs the system?

TarmacDry is supplied and installed throughout the country by Tarmac's National Contracting teams. We offer a system or fully integrated package for TarmacDry including design, service, hydraulic design, value engineering, early contract involvement, build, maintenance, warranty and after care service depending on your requirements. The system now comes with the full backing of the British Board of Agrement (BBA).
